We never collect or store or process any data related to Bank account, Cards or any kind of financial data. However, we send emails related to your transaction when you have contributed to our organisation or for any event. This will be sent in encrypted way and protects transaction information. Any Bank account or Cards details will only be collected by payment gateway providers who process data in secured way and complies with the Privacy policy and GDPR law.

We do not normally process special categories of data, also known as sensitive data. We will only process sensitive data with your express consent, unless the processing of your sensitive personal data is necessary for other reasons permitted by law. TAL takes your privacy seriously and will only process your personal data with your consent and in accordance with the terms stated in our Privacy Notice.

We work hard to protect you and your information from unauthorised access, alteration, disclosure or destruction and have several layers of security measures in place, including SSL encryption and password and hash key protected files.

Data Retention

How long we keep your data

TAL only ever retains personal information for as long as is necessary and we have strict review and retention policies in place to meet these obligations.

We will keep your details (non-member) on file for a period of 5 years before seeking confirmation that you are happy for us to continue to hold your data. After which time your data will be deleted from our systems unless we have had meaningful contact to say otherwise or if a law or other regulation requires us to preserve it (for example, because of our obligations to tax authorities or in connection with any anticipated litigation).

We will keep member details as long as you are a member of TAL or until TAL is not dissolved completely.
